Cross Creek Sport Horses is pleased to announce the purchase of our new Irish Sport Horse stallion prospect. The flashy black colt is a 2006 son of the famous Registered Irish Draught (RID) stallion, Touch of the Blues out of the Registered Thoroughbred mare, Seattle Gift, a great grandaughter of Seattle Slew. The sire has been an extremely accomplished breeding stallion, show and event horse in Ireland and America, the dam was a very successful show hunter on the "A" circuit. "SEATTLE BLUES" shows the talent of both parents even at his young age. He is a very nice mover and is already playing over jumps in his paddock! His fancy white markings display sabino characteristics and we look forward to breeding him to some of our painted pure Thoroughbred fillies for some very flashy 3/4 Thoroughbred - 1/4 Irish, Irish Sport Horses. All offspring of Seattle Blues will be eligible for Irish Sport Horse registration, pending his approval as a three year old. We feel that this Registered Irish Draught Sport Horse will be a great addition to our Sport Horse Breeding program. |
